Our classes are designed to motivate children to learn, using hands-on, experiential, game-based and highly themed curriculum. The dynamic and exploratory nature of our classes have students looking forward to exciting weekly adventures together. Whether it's diving into geography through an agent spy mystery, or history and writing through the making of a Medieval or Colonial Town, brain games in our Secret Solvers Society, or inspiring Entrepreneurs by the creation of an entire Pizzeria concept, there is never a dull moment in our classrooms!

ANI JANBAZIAN
JEOPARDY QUESTION:
“History is so dull” , “I hate writing” “Learning about countries is boring” and “I’m too young to start a business”.
ANSWER:
Things you will never hear in Mrs. Ani’s classroom!
Ani Janbazian, a native Canadian, earned a BA in Arts Management from the University of Toronto. As an Educational Exhibit Designer at the London Regional Children’s Museum, and then as an Educational Interpreter at the Scarborough Historical Museum, she was trained to relay complex scientific concepts and historical facts to students using approachable hands-on methods to make a lasting impact. As a youth programs coordinator at several non-profits, and Associate Director of Donor Relations at the Music Center of L.A. County, she had to engage large groups of people for big chunks of time during special events — so activities that were dynamic, thematic, and cooperative were always a hit! Employment at four educational toy retailers also made it clear that the most effective way for children to learn is simply through play.
As a homeschool mother of three, it seemed natural to use these very ideals to make learning come alive for her children. She began with creating interactive, themed, game-based curriculum for her own kids to experience and explore — And it was only a matter of time before it transformed into enrichment classes to offer to others in the homeschool community too. Through the company she started in 2015, We Spark Learning, she aims to spark intrigue and motivate children to learn with enthusiasm.
